She at first was a singer known as Katy Hudson. The CD came out in 2001, but it was a flop, so I don't think any were officially on the radio. The lead single to this cd, according to Wikipedia, is "Trust In Me." So, after another album that later got unpublished, Katy was broke for about two or three years until the success of Ur So Gay from Myspace. The next year, the legendary song I Kissed A Girl came out, which everyone knows to this day.
