As a guy I believe what a guy says doesn't have to be over-the-top or sensational. Everyone of us wants the same thing, to love and be loved. If I could just wake up in the morning and send a text saying, "Dear, my day might suck but I am thinking about you as you are going through yours", it would be bliss for me.

It's not what you say guys, it's how you say it and how much thought and heart into it. Anyone can say something nice and sweet, but it takes a real guy to mean what he says, and women CAN tell when someone is being sincere or not.

Hmmm well it was from my ex and I can't stand him now. But he just said how beautiful I was, how perfect I am, how cute I am, how much he loves me and stuff like that but yeahhh he's my ex now so yeah :/

It was actually last month. Here's how the conversation went:

Guy:"Did you do something to your hair?"

Me:"No."

Guy:"Oh. Well, your hair still looks pretty."

Me:"Thanks."

-sigh- That was a great Monday.

Well it was in band and he said he needed me! <3

My fiancé says sweet things everyday but here's three of the more important things to me: "Now I know how you felt when you were distrusting me and couldn't talk to me about it. It feels terrible, it feels lonely." // "Even when you die I will only love you." // "I never thought you would be like this. So spontaneous and random, sometimes cute, sometimes serious and sometimes sexy. I thought you were only the cute, shy girl but I'm glad I was wrong."

The sweetest thing was 'I love you and I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. You'll be in my heart forever"....Technically, it was a load of crap. Just because someone tells you sweet lovable things doesn't necessarily mean that he/she actually gives a crap about you. Took me four years to figure that out....you know how the rest of the story goes

Today, actually from a coworker. Totally non-romantic, a little flirty, but so much fun to receive! I was at work and answered a third call from him asking me to send up some meds (I work in a pharmacy) to another unit. I told him, "This is the third time now!" He said something like this, "I'm sorry for bugging you all the time, but I missed the sound of your voice." I laughed so hard. Answering phones can get extremely stressful where I work, but this totally cheered me up. It doesn't have to be romantic in nature to make me feel flattered.

"They don't know what they're missing out on, Tay, you've got an awesome voice, and you're pretty hot when you dance, too."

That was my best friend, Austin, talking to me on the phone when I was crying because I didn't make it into a dance group.
I...I think he meant to be sweet when he said that last part. Either that or he was just flirting. But it really made me feel better. xD

It was last week, and it came from one of my best guy friends. I kinda think he likes me, but I can't always be too sure.

"Your so beautiful, you make my mind go '...Uh?'"

And yesterday.

Me: If you could do anything, what would it be?

Him: Anything?

Me: Yep, anything.

Him: I'd be with you.

Me:(Blushes)...Okay.

well I don't really show my emotions much, but this one time about a week ago I was smiling in front of this guy I know (I don't like him, but I know he likes me).
He says 'You should smile more, you've got a really nice smile'
that was really sweet ^^ but then he says:
'and you've gotta be the hottest girl gamer I've ever known, normally girl gamers are fat chicks, but you're awesome as!'
then I was like 'uhh k thanks?' >.>
People are always shocked that I play video games XD

Me: Why?

My Boyfriend: Because you are perfect.

Me: Aww, thanks. But to be honest, nobody's perfect.

My Boyfriend: Liar.

Me: Hmm?

My Boyfriend: *twirls my hair* Hair, perfect. *stares into my eyes* Eyes, perfect. *kisses my nose* Nose, perfect. *Makes out with me* Lips, perfect. :)

Me: Hahaha!! :) I love you!
