He sounds like the guy from the movie Beastly, but if he truly took interest in you, he wouldn't divert his gaze. Wait for him to truly humble himself just a little, or else you may end up getting hurt. Nothing's wrong with talking to him though. Just don't flirt. If you get to know him better, you may see his true side...and it may not be as hostile as you think. But DO NOT let your feelings run away with your fantasies. Guard you heart, sweetheart, until you're sure that he can change.

if he is an ass he is an ass. plain and simple. and i doesnt matter weather or not he likes you because you dont want to like him. its natural to be attracted to a hot guy like him, and just fine to. so long as you dont act on it.
and dont think you can change him, because someone is not going to change if they dont want to and you cant make him want to. even if he does like you and ask you out. dont do it, cause a relationship with him will only end in you getting hurt.
